Thanks to everyone who has given feedback regarding the £10.00 annual fee, which will be applied to all accounts (excluding Junior accounts and those already paying a monthly fee for other services they receive). I recognise that whilst some of our members are in agreement with this charge, others are not, and I wanted to clarify few things in light of the feedback received.
However, I want to assure you that all your comments have been noted and the fee will be reviewed on an annual basis by the Board of Directors.
I am sure you appreciate that these are not easy decisions to make. The past year has proven financially challenging for both businesses and individuals alike - the credit union is no different. In these unprecedented times, we have needed to make increased investment in technology and sadly, to make some staff redundant; in order to safeguard the longer-term future of the business to enable us to continue to support our members in this ever-changing world for many years to come.
